His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Launches the Dubai PropTech Hub

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Future Technology and Digital Economy, has officially announced the launch of the Dubai PropTech Hub.

The announcement was made during the committee’s most recent meeting, chaired by Sheikh Hamdan, where he issued the directive to establish the new centre.

Purpose of the PropTech Hub

The Dubai PropTech Hub is designed to accelerate the growth of the emirate’s property technology (PropTech) sector. The goal is to more than double the market’s value to AED 4.5 billion within five years.
This initiative supports both the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Real Estate Sector Strategy 2033.

Dubai’s Global Leadership in PropTech

The Hub will drive real estate innovation and position Dubai as a global leader in PropTech, while also supporting the broader digital transformation of key economic sectors in the emirate.

The meeting also included a review of the committee’s progress report, highlighting past achievements, ongoing initiatives, and new proposals aimed at boosting Dubai’s digital economy.

Boosting Investment and Entrepreneurship

Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai has become a global hub for investment and top-tier talent. The real estate sector reflects this momentum through its balanced focus on sustainability and digital innovation.

He described the PropTech Hub as a strategic step to accelerate innovation in one of Dubai’s most vital economic sectors.
The objective is to create an environment where entrepreneurs and startups can transform ideas into successful PropTech businesses.

Projected Outcomes by 2030:

  • Attract over AED 1 billion in PropTech investment
  • Support more than 200 PropTech companies
  • Attract 20 international investment funds

Dubai’s PropTech sector was already valued at AED 2.2 billion in 2023. With the adoption of cutting-edge digital tools, this figure is expected to rise significantly, further boosting the sector’s contribution to Dubai’s economy.

A Complete Innovation Ecosystem

The Dubai PropTech Hub will include:

  • Modern incubators and co-working spaces
  • Smart outdoor spaces and infrastructure for AI-powered real estate technology testing

Developing Local Tech Talent

Sheikh Hamdan was also briefed on key initiatives such as the ā€œ5,000 Digital Talentsā€ programme, which connects students with global technology companies to nurture the next generation of local tech leaders.

With the launch of the Dubai PropTech Hub, Dubai reaffirms its position as a global leader in digital innovation and real estate technology.
